Ask for passport number when guests book online
Police registration here needs the passport number and country for every guest. We get name and email from the booking page and then reception has to ask for the passport again at check in, with a queue behind. If the booking page and self check-in could ask for it, plus city and country, and put it on the guest card, check in would take a minute.

Makes sense, and Olga's point is fair, so each field will be off, optional or required, per property. Same fields on the self check-in form, and the answers land on the guest card.

same rule here. Optional for us though, some guests dont like typing a passport number into a website
